Accident waiting to happen!

Well it has been a busy time recently with customers wishing to have their electrical work completed in time for the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Just recently we have been to a house in Waltham Chase to fit an extractor fan in the bathroom. However, upon checking the wiring circuit we found wiring in the loft space which was a potential fire hazard. If you have a look at the picture below you will see wires connected in a connection block which had over heated and melted the loft insulation which had then stuck to the block.
The second picture shows further ‘doggy’ wiring.
